TUI has cancelled in-house cruise line Marella's Asia and Middle East programme from November 2024 to the end of April 2025. In a message sent to customers, seen by Travel Gossip, TUI said the cancellations were due to the ongoing conflict in the Red Sea.

It's got 17 bars and restaurants – more than any of the other ships in our fleet – as well as an indoor cinema, a pool deck complete with a swimming pool and whirlpools, and a big show lounge.

Put your sports or swimwear away, and opt for trousers, smart tailored shorts or a skirt or dress, a shirt or polo shirt and smart shoes, so no trainers or flip flops. If you want to add a jacket or tie, that's up to you.

Marella All Inclusive Drinks Package

The All Inclusive package on Marella Cruises will be added when you book your cruise. It covers a selection of drinks between 10am and 2am throughout your getaway, with drinks ordered throughout this time charged at an extra cost.

We did both Discovery and E1 last year and they are very comparable. We preferred the layout of Discovery but the bathrooms were better on E1 so it's swings and roundabouts. The entertainment is very good on both and the food is similar although not quite as good as Princess. Always found the staff to be excellent.

All of our cruises are All Inclusive as standard, so you won't have to worry about budgeting onboard. Flights, transfers, luggage, food, drinks and tips are all part of the package. Plus, there's a huge choice of dining options, from buffet places and grab-and-go spots to waiter-service restaurants.
